JEE Advanced 2019 was held on 27th May 2019 which consist of Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 timing was from 9 am to 12 noon whereas Paper 2 timing was from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This year paper was comparatively difficult than the previous year i.e JEE Advanced 2018. One of the reasons JEE Advanced 2018 was easy because it was held online for the first time but this year that was not the case so NTA made sure that JEE Advanced is up to its expected level.

JEE Advanced Paper 1 Analysis:

  • Mathematics was the toughest one in all three subjects. Mathematics questions were mostly calculative.
  • Chemistry was the easiest one whereas Physics difficulty level was moderate.
  • Physics questions were mostly from 12th class.

JEE Advanced Paper 2 Analysis:

  • Mathematics was again toughest in all.
  • Chemistry syllabus was balanced and questions were asked from various topics.
  • Physics paper was moderate.

Overall this year JEE Advanced 2019 was tougher than the previous year and expected cut off will be lesser than before.

Official answers will be available by tomorrow i.e. 29th May 2019 on www.nta.ac.in and www.jeeadv.ac.in

JEE 2019 paper was designed by IIT Roorkee.
